The party of small government has finally triumphed in their drive to be just small enough to fit into a woman's uterus. And, yes, that's every bit as lame and disgusting as it sounds. NO ONE- not you, not me, not ANYfuckingONE- has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. Yet Conservative White males in 26 states are chomping at the bit over the opportunity to reduce women to second-class citizens.

Right now I'm so angry I can barely see straight, so today is for anger and reaction- for tomorrow we fight. I don't know what that looks like yet, but I can't sit by while my nieces' generation have to wade through this lake of pure, unadulterated shit. For their sake, I hope they'll take up the (metaphorical) sword as well.
Fuck Donald Trump, and fuck every member of the Supreme Court who lied about Roe v. Wade being "settled law" during their confirmation hearings. Overturning Roe was their plan all along. May they all roast in the Hell I don't believe in but that they so richly deserve.

Stacey, your expression of rage rings as clear as a struck bell and lands with the accuracy of a gold medal winning archer. Yes, EVERYTHING you've said. This time and this decision, more so than even all the other insults we've taken, is that which finally levels the Lego blocks. We must do all that you have noted including showing up to vote in November, and it MUST be straight Democratic ticket, there's no allowance for vetting candidates based on your, "feeling," about them. if they're Republican, if you're in on this fight, you don't vote for them, full stop. Regardless of whatever the demerits of Democrats they remain our only electoral hope of damning this rancid tide of fear, contempt, and delusion, and with any luck at all begin to recover our very tenuous democracy.
