That which does not kill you makes you ... homicidal? Moral of the story? Don’t be a jerk to people who are trying to do business with you. Also, when looking for a new place to live, it pays to be a little fatalistic. When something doesn’t go the way you wanted it to go, that is often a blessing in disguise.
