How did you know I accidentally bought a vat of black beans from Costco instead of the refried beans I meant to get? Thank you! Perfect way to use those up (and yummy).
Woman Where The Heck are you blithely getting those ingredients in Italy? Ranch dressing powder? You better be prepared to share.
On a different note...posole. much more italian ingredient friendly than your chili bean. Particularly since the bars went to cheaper snacks with Aperol spritz. You can get cracked corn now even here in the hinterland.
BAHAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, I should start labeling recipes as "American friendly" versus "Expat Unfriendly," shouldn't I? I'm poor, so I can't afford to get fancy ingredients from Amazon, which theoretically a person could, BUT every time I'm stateside, I load up on ranch dressing powder and a few other items while I'm there. John loves Doritos, for instance, but those are really hard to transport properly. What you can do to substitute for the ranch dressing is use 1/3 cup chopped cilantro and 1 tbsp lime. It works! I'm not a huge fan of bitter cilantro, but in taco soup, it does the trick.

COSTCO FREE SAMPLES. I can eat for the day on those things.

The photo of that soup is gorgeous—I could eat the whole pot!
Right? You can practically taste it.
