On life in an Italian hill town, language, travel, writing, and books
For all you Italophiles out there, I highly recommend Cheryl's newsletter. She's a strong writer who really gets what it's like to live in Italy. If I read another fluff piece about the wonders of al fresco dining, I'm going to hurl. You might be sick of the "perfect life" blogs, too. Living abroad is not your perfect life. It's sometimes very difficult. Cheryl shoots straight, and I really appreciate her candor. You will, too.
Things that bug me, fascinate me, or pique my interest. If this space seems like it's written by someone with ADD, it is. Welcome to my world.

All it takes is one article, and you’ll be hooked. Mr. Cluth will make you laugh about our ongoing political disaster, and more importantly, will have you feeling less alone. He’s a GIFTED writer and makes it look soooooo easy (it’s not). He also has marvelous perspective.
